The Deveron Singers are a community choir who meet in Macduff Arts Centre on Duff Street in Macduff on a Wednesday night at 7.00pm for two hours. We started back on the 25th August 2021. Anyone who is interested in taking part in the choir is welcome to come and try it to see if you like it or not. We are a small group who love to sing together and would welcome anyone else who would like to give it a go!
What Is A Community Choir?
It's a group of people who get together to sing for the enjoyment of singing in a group - there are no voice tests and the songs we sing are varied and mostly 'a cappella' or unaccompanied.
So, if you like singing and would like to be part of a group who do too, then we might just be what you are looking for!
We are really looking forward to Deveron Singers being part of the Harps of Gold and Sounds of Silver Concert this will premier on 19th December at 3pm hosted by the North East of Scotland Clarsach Society.
